Contest “Use Case StoryTelling Interactive Animation in SoftWare Requirements” started at June 10 during the crediting lessons on discipline “Professional practice of software engineering” when 13 student teams presented their works.
During the semester each team took the following steps in determining the requirements for future software products: business idea for satisfaction of information needs in various fields of human activity; scenarios for using of software product (Use Cases); script of advertising film for using of software product (StoryTelling); creating of animated film as software classes of actors and methods of their behavior in scenes using tools of object-oriented visual programming with 3D-animations (http://alice.org); creating of interactivity in animations for modeling of consumer accidental/intentional errors or bugs of software product. Contest “Games for Assembler Learning” started at June 9 during the crediting lessons on discipline “Assembler language”.
The final round took place in two stages separately for console and graphics programs:
– presentation of prototypes of educational games for Assembler;
– playtesting as process in which the authors on their device provide an opportunity for all who wish to play the game, evaluate its criteria for entertaining, clearly, the benefits for training and to express their opinions, comments in the questionnaire.

The main outcomes of the Info Day are:
1) to present the method “Use Case StoryTelling Interactive Animation in SoftWare Requirements” to students;
2) to motivate students for using of game elements during the educational process of Assembler language.
